Stripes on Stripes
Playing with pattern is something that is growing on me. In the past I have been terrified to mix prints/pattern and put pattern on pattern……..fearing that I would look like a total mess. So today was a subtle try with stripes on stripes.

Tutorial for 2 DIY Tops with on trend accents
A few days ago I saw a great DIY T SHIRT TUTORIAL. I had to give it a try right away. I went through my fabric stash an I already had everything I needed. It’s a great feeling to want to dive into a project and have all the supplies you need, so you can start right away. A first time for everything. ..lol.
The shirt’s took me about an hour for each. You can get as creative as you like. The tutorial I followed she used one color for the top and genuine leather. For the exclamation top I used two different fabric’s and faux leather. For the lace and striped knit I simply followed the tutorial without adding any of the embellishments. You will be given the option of pockets or exclamation point. You will enjoy the ease of this DIY. It was a great and I must try it again soon.
Thank you to MimiGStyle for Michael Levine for the excellent tutorial.
