Herb & Lemon Buttered Broiled Flounder

Hello all,

In my life making a meal that is delicious and quick is……..one of the best things” EVER”.   I was in a seafood mood, so I decided to play around with the flounder I had in the freezer.  I am all for experimenting and trust me I have many fails and successful experiences.  So I continue to tweak what didn’t work out so well and keep the successful things in rotation.

So let’s get started…………………….

Ingredients

6 pieces of flounder

2 Tbs of butter

1/4 tsp of salt

1 lemon

1/4 tsp of dried or fresh parsley, black pepper, red pepper flakes, onion powder, garlic powder

Direction:

Set your oven to broil 500°

Line and baking tray with parchment paper

Lay your fish onto the baking tray and sprinkle each piece with salt.

In a measuring cup melt 2 Tbs of butter in the microwave for 30 second

Zest your lemon into the melted butter and then cut the lemon in half and squeeze all the juice of that lemon into the melted butter.

Add all your herbs and spice, stir to get everything evenly mixed

Pour your mixture over each piece of flounder

Let it broil for 5-8 minutes (the time depends on your oven and thickness of fish) my oven takes 8 minutes.

Serve with whatever you like.

Enjoy & Until Next Time,
