4 Ingredient Easy To Make Jerk Chicken

Need an easy dinner. This is a great dish to try.



2-3 pound of chicken
3 TBS Jamaican Jerk Seasoning ( I love Frontier’s Organic Salt-Free Jamaican Jerk Seasoning )
1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
2 TBS of Grape seed Oil ( or oil of choice)


Preheat to 450° F

Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.

In a small bowl add your oil, jerk seasoning and salt.

Place your chicken in a large bowl pour your jerk mixture onto the chicken. Rub it in to make sure each piece is evenly coated on both sides.

Place your chicken onto the lined baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until completely cooked through.

Jerk Shrimp

Hello everyone,

So I have gone Jerk Crazy……the seasoning that is. I am finding ways to put it on everything.  So, when one of my closes friends called and said…..hey I have a little surprise for. …stop by over the weekend to get it. She found Organic Farm Raised Shrimp.  She knows how much I love shrimp/seafood and that my protein requirements are organic or wild caught.  I was very excited when I got them and knew just what I was going to do with them…….so now let me share.


1/2 – 1 lb. Shrimp  ( or more)                     3 T. Jerk Seasoning
1/4 t. Sea Salt
1/2 C. Chicken Stock


In a pan on medium heat add your chicken stock and 1Tablespoon of Jerk Seasoning,  stir to evenly combine.

Place Shrimp in plastic bag add 2 Tablespoons of Jerk Seasoning and salt. Shake to get everything evenly coated.

Place shrimp into the pan and cook until pink, flip and cook until other side is pink. 


That’s it your done. I served the shrimp as an appetizer but feel free to add quinoa or rice with veggies for a complete meal.

Such a Jerk

This week I have been obsessing over Jerk Seasoning.  I already gave Jerk Chicken a try but what else could I try it on………….it hit me what about Jerk Turkey Burgers. My daughter’s said it didn’t sound like the best idea to them. I didn’t let that discourage me and made them anyway. All I have to say is…….Jerk the kid’s loved the Burgers. This dish wil be in my monthly dinner rotation. 

So, with all that said it’s time to share.

1 pound of Ground Turkey (or Beef or Chicken)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp of jerk seasoning
1 Tbs of Braggs Amino Acid (or low sodium soy sauce)
Grapeseed Oil (or oil of choice)


Pre-heat oven to 375°

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Place your Ground Turkey in a bowl add your seasonings and Amino Acid.  Mix to evenly incorporate.

Use and ice cream scoop to scoop your burgers onto the parchment lined baking tray and then flaten to get the burger/patty shape.

Drizzle a little oil across each one.

Place into your Pre-heated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until completely cooked.  (you will need more or less time, depending on your oven and size of your burgers.)


Now top with whatever you desire and enjoy.

Very Easy Pan Seared Jerk Chicken

Hello all,

Finally, I had the chance to make Jerk Chicken. It was a winner with my children aka pickiest eaters I know. This was super simple to make. The goal with making and sharing this recipe, was to make it so that anyone can make it.

So here’s what you will need.

4 -6 Bonesless Chicken Thighs ( breast or tenders can be used) I went with the thigh because dark meat is more flavorful.
Jerk Seasoning ( I buy my seasoning in bulk at My Organic Market aka Mom’s)
Grapeseed Oil
Low Sodium Chicken Stock


Sprinkle on a little salt on each piece of chicken on both sides.  Now add your Jerk Seasoning on both sides. (For more flavor season, place into an air tight container and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.)

In a pan on the stove top on medium high heat a 2 Tbs of oil. Add your chicken brown on both sides for about 5 minutes on each side.

Once browned add 1/4 Cup or more if necessary of Chicken Stock. Reduce the heat to low place a top on the pan and allow to simmer for 10 minutes check periodically.


Once you are done serve it with your side dishes of choice.  ( Brown Rice, Quinoa, Broccoli or whatever else you would like. )
