Thai Basil Inspired Ground Turkey

Hello everyone,

I have been wanting to try something different with Ground Turkey and this recipe is something new and delicious. You will just have to see for yourself. Let’s get started……

Ingredients:

1 pound of Ground Turkey
2 TBS Hoisin Sauce
2 TBS Amino Acid (or low sodium soy sauce)
3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 Cup green, yellow and red peppers
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp grape seed oil

Directions:

In a bowl add Hoisin sauce, amino acid and sesame oil, stir and set aside.

In a small bowl add basil, onion powder and black pepper.

In a pan on medium heat add grape seed oil, garlic and pepper’s. Stir for 2 minutes.

Add ground turkey, cook until completely cooked. Turn heat off add dry seasonings, stir to combine. Add your sauce and stir to evenly coat the ground turkey.

Sprinkle with cayenne pepper, serve over coconut rice or have as a lettuce wrap. Get creative and have fun in the kitchen.

Hoisin Glazed Chicken

Ingredients:

3 pounds of chicken
2 tsp of garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper

Sauce:

1/3 C Brown Sugar (DIY recipe here)
1/3 C Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbs Amino Acid
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp freshly grated ginger

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°

In a pan on low heat add all of the ingredients for your sauce.
Stir to get everything evenly incorporated. Once mixture comes to a slight boil, remove from heat and set aside.

In a small bowl add your seasonings. Place chicken in a large bowl and season. Make sure every piece is evenly coated with seasoning.

Next pour your sauce over. Mix to get every piece coated with the sauce. Let marinate anywhere from 5 minutes to overnight in the refrigerator.

Once done marinating, place the chicken on a parchment lined baking sheet….skin side up. Pour the remaining sauce over the top and bake for 45-50 minutes.

DIY Peanut Butter Sauce

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share a quick and easy sauce.  It’s great on salad to pasta and more.  So let’s jump right into the recipe.

Ingredients :

1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/2 Cup of Water
1 TBS of Rice Vinegar
1 TBS of Toasted Sesame Oil
1 TBS of Honey
1 TBS of Amino Acid or Soy Sauce
1 Clove of Crushed Garlic

Instructions :

In a saucepan on low heat add all your ingredients. Stir until smooth and full combined.  Takes about 3-5 minutes.
