Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Colour Fusion Lip Glaze

Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday!!!

image

When it comes to makeup I love it. Over the past few years, I have not worn it like I use to.  Once I started focusing on putting natural and healthy things in and on my body.  I stopped wearing makeup like I used to.  I started trying out makeup at Whole Food’s or if you live in Washington D.C./ Maryland/ Northern Virginia aka DMV like I do a store called MOM’s (My Organic Market).  I would try out various things but ultimately be unsatisfied. Even though I want healthy ingredients in my makeup I also want it to look good as well.  That is one benefit to some of my old favorites. Great long lasting color/pigments and wearability.

Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques.  When I saw the list of ingredients in her makeup…..I had to try it out. I tried out the Dragon Fruit Colour Fusion Lip Glaze.

Ingredients

Certified Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Certified Organic Cera Alba (Beeswax), Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Wax, Non-GMO Stevia Rebaudiana (Stevia) Extract, Certified Organic Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea) Extract, Non-GMO Natural  Vitamin E Oil, Certified Organic Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Certified Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract (+/- Mica, Certified Organic Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil (Sweet Orange) Essential Oil, Certified Organic Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Extract, Certified Organic Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Certified Organic Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Oil Certified Organic Vanilla Planifolia Fruit (Vanilla) Extract).

Now I will admit I was a bit skeptical based off of past experiences with other products.  But let me tell you……I was so impressed.

This gloss has great pigmentation and great wearability.  I was in total shock.  It goes on smooth, it’s not sticky, it doesn’t have any type of weird scent.  I ate and still had color left.  I just did a minor touch up after eating.  As I write this post….I’m still in shock by how great this lip product is. Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques offers and array of  beauty products and tools.  Which you can check out here.

A big thank you to Lauren for this collab!!

I have a question for you……..

If you are rushing and only have time to apply 1 makeup product what would it be????

For me, it would have to be lipstick or lip gloss.  I will just hide my dark circles with sunglasses…lol.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, I greatly appreciate it.

Until Next Time,

OZ Naturals Ancient Orient Rice Enzyme Dermafoliant Review

Hello everyone,

image

Today I want to share a New product with you.  OZ Naturals Ancient Orient Enzyme Dermafoliant.

Before we get into how it feels and works…….let’s talks about the ingredients.

  • Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract aka Bamboo Stem Powder – Derived from the stems of Bamboo, this purifying powder helps sweep away dead skin cells and clarify pores for a brighter and clearer complexion.
  • Sucrose – Which comes from the crystallization of sugar cane or beet juice. This ingredient is used as a humectant which helps the skin to retain moisture.
  • Lactic Acid – Is derived from milk, fruit, vegetables, and plants.  It is known to plump and tighten skin, reduce acne, wrinkles, and aging spots.
  • Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract aka Green Tea –  Which is a great anti-inflammatory and high in anti-oxidants.
  • Panthenol – Is derived from Vitamin B5.  This is known to make the skin soft and smooth.
  • Thioctic Acid – Is derived naturally from milk.  Used for anti-aging.

The product is 100% Vegan and Cruelty-Free!!!

90% Organic / 100% Natural

It has a sand-like consistency.  You apply a nickel size amount in the palm of your hand, adding a little water to make a paste.  Next apply it to your face rubbing in a circular motion. Let it stay on for 5 minutes.

What you will notice is that it starts to tighten a bit.  Once the five minutes has passed rinse your skin thoroughly and pat dry.

I used this product on myself and well as my daughter who has acne.  We both fell in love with it.  It was easy to apply and rinses off just as easily.  Our skin……..felt absolutely amazing, so soft and smooth.   We both have oily/ sensitive skin….so I was looking to see if this exfoliant would be too harsh on our sensitive skin. This worked great on our sensitive skin. Not harsh at all. I am happy to have the opportunity to try this product for free in exchange for this honest review.

I truly love this exfoliant.  It has great ingredients, perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin and works like it says it will.  For me, that is a win/win. For more information on this product and other products, you can visit Oz Naturals!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, it’s truly appreciated.

Until Next Time,

3 Ingredient DIY Dry Skin Scrub

Hello everyone,

Can I just say……I am really looking forward to spring. This winter weather has been brutal.

What’s the weather been like in your area???

For me and many other’s the wintery conditions can be very harsh on the skin. Which, is why I decided to try this great DIY.

The great thing about this scrub is it works!!!!  After two applications I saw my skin returning to normal. Thank goodness!!!! Another benefit….it only requires 3 ingredients, which you probably already have in your kitchen.

You will need:

1/2 C Organic oats (old fashioned or steel cut)
1/2 C Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
2 Tbs Raw Honey

Stir to evenly combine ingredients. Store in an air tight container with a lid.

My method of use:

I apply warm water to my face. Next rub in a nickel to quarter size amount all over my face. Rinse with a nice warm/damp wash cloth. I have been doing this twice a day. In the morning and before bed. I can honestly say that by the second day of use, my skin was back to normal. I am so “THANKFUL” for that. I also exfoliate with a sugar scrub recipe which you can find here, once a week in the mornings only. This regimen has been very beneficial for me. I hope this recipe is as helpful to you as it has been for me.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I greatly appreciate it.

Until Next Time,
