Recipe serves 1

1/2 C organic oats ( I love old fashioned oats)

1 C water or organic unsweetened plain almond milk

1/4 tsp organic brown sugar (DIY recipe here)

1/4- 1/2 tsp of grass fed butter

1/4 tsp organic cane sugar

1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract

1/4 tsp organic cinnamon

1/4 tsp organic nutmeg

a handful of organic raisins

Method:

Cook your oatmeal according to package directions. Then simply add all the above ingredient (minus the water or milk which is used to cook the oats according to package directions.) Stir everything together to get everything evenly incorporated. Now you can enjoy your delicious breakfast and the wonderful aroma floating through the house.

  1. I really ought to add oats to my daily diet, I read that it’s an excellent source of fibre.

This oatmeal cookie looks so yummy, and the best part is that it’s healthy. 🙂

Thank you for sharing your recipe.
