Hello everyone,
Welcome to Tasty Tuesday!!!!
Summer is here and it has been 90°+. I’m not complaining at all. I just do my best to stay cool.
The heat has had me craving ice cream. Now usually I go for Talenti’s Gelato you can check out my love for it here….but today I decided to try my hand at some homemade ice cream. It’s very simple to make, only 3 ingredients required and a ice cream maker is not necessary!!!!
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Organic Peanut Butter (chunky or smooth)
4 -5 Frozen Organic Bananas
1/2 C Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks or chips
Method:
In a food processor or high powered blender add peeled and cut bananas. Pulse until smooth 1-2 minutes or less.
Add peanut butter. Pulse for 30 seconds.
Fold in Chocolate Chunks
Serve immediately or place in a freezer safe container for a firmer texture. Another option is to serve sanwiched in between 2 chocolate chip cookies. You can find my easy recipe here. The ice cream will last for up to 2 weeks.
A delicious treat. That’s healthy, quick & easy to make.
Great to find a no-calorie ice cream that tastes good.
Thank you…..I feel like you just can’t go wrong with bananas, chocolate & PB.
Oh my!! Yum yum!!
I’ve got some over ripe bananas in my freezer – I put them in there then forget about them!! Would they do?? 😃
That would work perfectly!!!!
Yum–never would have thought of this!
Thx….it’s delicious, quick and easy.
