When I saw this fabric…..I just had to bring it home. It screams “Spring” and I knew it would make a cute skirt for my daughter. Plus it has her favorite color in it purple.
Elastic waist gathered skirts are sooooo easy to make. You can make one in an hour or less.

I’ve toyed with the idea of creating a sewing page on my mostly gardening blog. I grew up sewing and made my clothes in high school and college. I also sewed for a theater after graduating. I love it, but just don’t find the time these days. I do make a Halloween costume each year. It’s fun.
