Hello everyone,

Welcome To Thread It Thursday!!!!!

Today’s post was inspired by my oldest daughter.  She so graciously offered to help me clean out and organize my fabric stash. With her help, I was able to giveaway and get rid of a lot of fabric. Once we were all done she said do you think you can make me a t-shirt with leopard sleeves.  I thought and said what a “great idea”. Now I can’t make something for one child and not the other…..so we quickly found a fabric that my youngest would love.  I quickly got to work. With all that said……let’s get into this tutorial.

Supplies:

T-shirt with or without sleeves
1/2 yd of knit fabric
Sleeve pattern for stretch fabric (* I will include a video that shows you how to draft your own if needed.)
Coordinating Thread

Method:

1. If you’re using a t-shirt with sleeves remove them. (* the shirts I used were sleeveless)

2. Using your sleeve pattern cut out 2 sleeves.

3. Sew sleeves, attach to shirt and finish the seams. I used a 1/2″ seam allowance for mine.

It’s as easy as that.
