Hello everyone,
Welcome to Thread It Thursday!!!
I love fabric shopping. My creativity just comes to life in the fabric store. Now, if I could sew as fast as I can mentally create. While shopping, this African Print Fabric totally caught my attention. I love the vibrant colors and print. I instantly had an idea of what I would make. Since there was only a 1 1/2 yards left 😦 I had to scrap my original idea. So, I decided to whip up this to this gathered midi skirt. I have an obsession with midi length skirts. They just scream classic.
If you would like to make this skirt click here. I have a previous tutorial you can check out.
I would love to know……what sparks your creativity?????
Thank you for taking the time to stop by, it is greatly appreciated.
Until Next Time,

GAH! This is perfect timing because I have a skirt that I need to take in and I think I’m going to use your casing/elastic tips to go ahead and alter it!! π thanks!
Oh I am excited and can’t wait to see!!!!
I do have a weakness for the fabric store also. The colors-touching-an overload for the senses….I am trying hard to stay away and focus on the stash I have…….so much fabric so little time…..π
I understand!!!! I had to clean out my stash. It was becoming overwhelming. So now that I’ve either given some away or sold some of my stash, I shop for fabric based on projects I am doing at the moment. I must say I love how organized thing’s are now. I find that I am completing more projects.
Good idea. I’m working on thatπ
This is incredibly cute! You are so talented!!
Karen
Thank you so much!!! π
