Hello everyone,
About a month ago I was watching one of my favorite Vlog’s AprilJustintv and April mentioned a soap great for oily skin and acne. Which was so timely since one of my daughter’s is starting to have this problem. Then on her beauty channel AprilAthena7, she did a review of the African Black Soap Dudu Osun. I loved her honesty regarding the soap, so I order it, it was under $5.00.
It arrived quickly and she immediately started using it. Within a couple of days, we noticed a difference. Her acne and dark spots started clearing up and her oiliness greatly reduced. Since I saw such success I wanted to try it out. I don’t have acne, I have oily skin. The product work’s……for me a little too well. After a week of use. I saw that this product is not for daily use on my skin. For me this soap is great for once a week use, otherwise it’s too drying. As for my daughter, it works very well if she uses it 2-3 times a week or it becomes too drying for her as well.
Here are my thoughts on the product. I love that it’s 100 % natural. It has a great price point. It works great on oily/acne skin. This is not a product that should be used daily depending on your skin type. My opinion is to use 2-3 times a week. I would definitely buy this product for my daughter again and use a noted above.

Hmmm- I’ve never seen it!! I need to try it out!
I’ve never seen this in store’s but when I saw a review online…..I thought it was worth a try. I love products that are natural.
I have been using this for my skin and hair since 2013. I have an oily face and it really does help control the oiliness hands down. I’m just in love with Dudu Osun.
I agree it reduces oiliness almost instantly.
I’d heard of sulphur soap but not this kind. It also looks like there aren’t any corrosive ingredients either!
Yes I like that it doesn’t not have any harmful ingredients. The soap is very effective.
Amazing! Thanks for the reply
I am a Nigerian, Dudu Osun is produced here but I never saw a need to use it, until I started having ache and my face was literally producing oil, lol.
Decided to switch to an all natural ingredient soap, I was pleased to find Dudu Osun after researching. Been using it for a month and the result is perfect, I don’t have to keeping powdering my face all day long just to control my oily face. Dudu Osun has been helpful.
It’s a really great soap with great ingredients….so happy it work’s so well for you!!!
Dudu osun worked for me the first month. My face become smooth and clear. I kept on using it but then I started getting ache. So reading this made me think maybe because I use it everyday, but because it’s too dry I use a creamy shower soap after every bath with Dudu osun . Is this a good idea?
For us we found that using more than a couple of times in a week to be very drying. So, what we do when we use it, is moisturize with coconut oil or oil of choice right after. We are still a little wet from the shower, before applying the oil. I hope this is helpful for you.
I just started using it.. I went to a supermarket and an attendant recommended it. I am glad I bought it, my skin and face feels oil free .
I definitely will recommend this product
This soap really moisturise my skin and make me refreshed. I noticed my skin is smooth and glowing after a week of using this Dudu Osun soap. Am really in love with it forever.
