So I am finally getting around to some DIY’S I’ve had on the list. So first up in “2014”. Was a make over for a pair of Chuck Taylor’s that I have had for years.
Let’s jump in
Supplies:
Mod Podge
(1) 2 oz. Bottle of Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Directions:
1. Make sure to wash the shoes first.
2. Once your shoes are dry and the laces removed, cover the canvas area with Mod Podge. This helps the paint to adhere better.
3. Once Mod Podge is dry paint the shoes. Since my shoes were darker I had to apply a total of 3 coats. Allowing each coat to completely dry before applying the next.
That’s is your all done. If you get any paint on the rubber sole, simply use nail polish remover on a Q-tip to get it off.
Enjoy & Until Next Time,
